Truly, left-hander Shōta Imanaga's MLB career is off to an unprecedented start. After picking up the fourth win of his big-league career in last night's bout with the Boston Red Sox, Imanaga became the first Cubs starter in history, and the first across MLB since 1945, to keep a sub-1.00 ERA with at least four wins and no losses through his first five contests. What's more, Imanaga's seven strikeouts on the night brought his career total to 28, which look even more incredible compared to the three walks he's conceded.
