The legend of Angels young star Nolan Schanuel continued in Thursday's matchup against the Cleveland Guardians. With a man on first base and two outs in the seventh inning, the 2023 first-round MLB Draft pick slapped a single to left field. The first baseman's knock marks an Angels record for reaching base safely in first 16 career games, passing Darin Erstad, who set the record with 15 games in 1996. It's been quite the story for the 21-year-old, who was playing collegiate baseball at Florida Atlantic University just a couple of months ago.
