Gerrit Cole added another milestone in New York Yankees pinstripes with a dominant outing at home against the Atlanta Braves. The six-time MLB All-Star fanned nine batters over seven innings in the 5-4 victory, becoming the 13th Yankees pitcher to record 1,000 strikeouts. Cole also became the fastest ever to reach the mark, doing so in just 139 games with the franchise.
