New York Yankees starting pitcher Gerrit Cole has been in peak form since Opening Day and continued rolling on Sunday against the Minnesota Twins. The 32-year-old struck out 10 hitters en route to a two-hit complete game shutout, the fourth of his career. Cole made Club history as well, tying Ron Guidry with his 23rd outing of 10-plus strikeouts, the most of any pitcher in Yankees history. He also passed Hall-of-Famer Whitney Ford (1,956) for 97th on the all-time strikeouts list.
