Shohei Ohtani is doing his best to make his native land of Japan proud, becoming the first from his nation to hit 300 MLB homers. The two-way superstar made his only hit of the day count in the opening frame, blasting a 409-foot leadoff shot to get his team on the board. Needing 1,101 games to reach the milestone, Ohtani did so in the fifth-fewest contests in MLB history.
