Nick Kurtz ended his stellar debut campaign with a bang, turning in another strong performance against Kansas City. The Athletics No. two prospect blasted his 36th homer of the season against the Royals, tying him for eighth-most by a rookie in MLB history. He's also just the eighth rookie since 1901 with at least 400 plate appearances to post an OPS above 1.000.
