Southpaw Max Fried continues to be as good as advertised, winning his career-high 18th game with a stellar showing. The New York Yankees lefty twirled seven scoreless innings and matched a career-high in strikeouts with 13 to stamp a 7-0 win against Baltimore. Fried is the first MLB hurler this season to post that many victories and the first for the Yankees since 2019.
