Bolstered by five home runs on the night, the Athletics offense exploded for an 11-1 road win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Lefty-swinging first baseman Nick Kurtz got in on the fun in the eighth inning by going the opposite way for the first home run of his young MLB career. It figures to be the first of many for the Club's top prospect.
