Reigning AL MVP Award winner Shohei Ohtani couldn't wait to experience his first home game in Dodger blue. With Mookie Betts on first base in the bottom of the opening frame, the two-way star ripped a double down the right-field line to pick up his first knock at Dodger Stadium. Ohtani would pick up a second hit two frames later en route to a win over the St. Louis Cardinals, 7-1. "I'm very grateful for the fans, and there were a lot of them," he said after the game.
