It wasn't a matter of if but when headliner Shohei Ohtani would send his first homer into the seats with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The reigning AL MVP Award winner made it happen on Wednesday evening, hammering a 430-foot solo shot to right field in the seventh inning to make it 5-3. Ohtani's blast tied a Club record for scoring five or more runs in each of the team's first nine games. The effort helped pave the way to their seventh win of the season.
