Houston Astros first sacker José Abreu put on a seven-RBI fireworks display with his offensive output in the 12-3 pummeling over the Texas Rangers Wednesday. With the bases juiced in the third inning, the slugger belted a grand slam off none other than Max Scherzer to give his team a 6-1 lead. The Cuban native would flex his power again in the game, yanking a three-run blast to left field in the ninth inning. His two dingers contributed to a Club record (16) for the most round trippers in a three-game set, and it was his first multi-home run game with the Astros.
