What can't Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani do? In the team's game against the Seattle Mariners Thursday, the 29-year-old smacked his 40th home run of the season, making him the first player to reach that number in 2023. Ohtani enjoyed a well-rounded overall effort, finishing the day with a stolen base and a homer while tossing four scoreless frames. He is just the third player since 1900 to have such a game.
