After an incredible 2022 Major League Baseball campaign, Minnesota Twins first baseman/second baseman Luis Arraez was crowned the American League batting titlist, posting the highest batting average across the AL, with .316. This is the first time a Minnesota Twins player has taken home a batting title in over a decade, with the last one being Joe Mauer in 2009. Arraez, who won the title in just his fourth season in the big leagues, is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.
