After swiping second base in the bottom of the fifth inning in Saturday night's contest between the Angels and the San Diego Padres, Shohei Ohtani became the first player in franchise history to have a 40-homer, 20-stolen-base season. No other Japanese-born player has compiled such a season, making the 27-year-old phenom's 2021 campaign even more remarkable. The Angels would go on to defeat the Padres, 10-2.
