Shohei Ohtani is the first player in MLB history to be elected to the MLB All-Star Game as both a position player and a pitcher. The two-way sensation received 121 votes in the recent ballot by League peers and managers. The 26-year-old slugger currently leads all of Baseball with 31 longballs. On the bump, Ohtani owns a 3.60 ERA with 83 strikeouts over 60 innings of work while holding a 3-1 record. "The guy's going to participate in the Home Run Derby, pitch in the game and hit in the game. That doesn't happen like, ever," said Angels manager Joe Maddon.
