Giancarlo Stanton had been the hottest Yankees hitter when he stepped up to the plate in the second inning. The hulking outfielder stayed red hot in that at-bat, launching a scorching, opposite-field blast down the right-field line. After that solo home run, Stanton later added a towering, three-run homer to left-center field. With the monster output, Stanton joined Juan Gonzalez as the only players ever to hit five home runs in the first four games of a Postseason.
