Paul Goldschmidt became the first player in Major League history to hit three homers in one of his first two games with a team. In just his second game with the Cardinals, Goldschmidt blasted a first-inning home run, launched a go-ahead homer in the sixth, and capped the night with a two-run shot in the seventh.
