The Chicago Cubs included top prospect Matt Shaw on their Opening Day roster for their MLB Tokyo Series 2025 clash against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Looking to contribute in the second game, Shaw notched both his first career MLB knock and run scored in the fifth inning. With some nice defensive plays, it was an impressing showing for the young third baseman.
