The Cubs top prospect is already showing promise. In the seventh inning against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Matt Shaw strutted to the plate as a pinch-hitter. The rookie proved the choice to be correct, hitting his first career home run over the left-center-field wall. MLB Pipeline's 19th-rated prospect gave his team a much-needed cushion, as the Cubs won the game, 4-3.
