The Seattle Mariners backstop recorded the sixth multi-homer game of his remarkable season in a 9-4 road win over the Cubs, giving him 29 dingers in just 73 games. That passes Johnny Bench's mark (28 longballs in 87 games) for the most home runs by a primary catcher before the All-Star break.
