Shohei Ohtani has some company atop the season home run leaderboard. Atlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson hammered his 40th homer on a solo shot Thursday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He is the fastest player to reach as many longballs in franchise history. The slugger is the second to reach the mark in 2023 and the seventh player to reach 40 dingers and 100 RBI in his Club's first 113 games since 1962.
