Anthony Volpe's rookie season with the New York Yankees has been one filled with historic firsts and record-breaking moments. Known for his speed, the young shortstop has also flashed his strength at the plate. The 22-year-old showed it off against the Seattle Mariners, launching a solo-homer in the seventh inning of Wednesday's contest. In doing so, Volpe joined Tony Lazzeri (1926) and Alfonso Soriano (2001) as the only Yankees rookies to tally 10 or more homers and 15 or more stolen bases in a season.
