Wander Franco had another successful day at the plate in the series finale between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Baltimore Orioles. The 20-year-old switch hitter was 1-for-2 with two runs scores and a base on balls. With his effort, Franco extended his on-base streak to 21 games, the largest total of the 2021 season. The Rays would go on to defeat the Orioles, 7-2, and complete the four-game sweep.
