Wander Franco led all Tampa Bay Rays batters with three hits in Wednesday night's contest against the Houston Astros. Most importantly, his stand-up double in his first at-bat placed him in ultra-rare company. This knock sealed Franco's 43rd straight game reaching base safely, tying Frank Robinson for longest on-base streak among players in their age 20 seasons. "The names that he's passed along the way, pretty special group," Rays manager Kevin Cash said. "Huge congrats to Wander. That's pretty special to be in the same sentence with certainly Frank Robinson and Mickey Mantle."
