In the bottom of the third inning in the matchup between the New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays, George Springer made one of the best defensive plays you will see any outfielder make. The 31-year-old from New Britain, Connecticut, darted to left-center field to cover 79 feet in 4.6 seconds and left his feet for a superman-like catch to rob Brandon Nimmo of extra-bases. Springer was on a mission from the crack of the bat and hovered in the air for the potential catch of the year.
