Jacob deGrom's record-breaking season continues as his astonishing 0.69 ERA remains safely unchallenged by any other Major League starter. In just 13 starts, deGrom has accumulated 122 strikeouts and allowed only six earned runs. The DeLand, Florida, native became the first pitcher in that many single-season appearances to strike out at least 120 with less than 10 runs earned since ERA became an official stat in 1913.
