For the first time in their country's history, Team Australia has advanced to the quarterfinals of the World Baseball Classic. Members of Australia's team may have different occupations outside of the diamond, but one thing is for sure: Alex Hall is a full-time hitter. He smashed the game's first homer out of the park in the first inning and didn't stop there, adding a triple and four RBI to his resume. Hall's bat helped lead his team past Team Czech Republic 8-3.
