Pete Alonso flexed his power at the plate to lift the Baltimore Orioles to a series-opening 4-3 comeback win over the Toronto Blue Jays. The 31-year-old slugger's two homers in the victory made him the 10th player in franchise history to record a 40-home run season. Alonso also became the only player in MLB history to hit 40-plus blasts in his first season in each league.
