Chicago Cubs shortstop Dansby Swanson's first career three-homer, eight-RBI game provided a historic showing in a 23-3 win. Capping with a grand slam, he became the first Cubs player with that many RBI in a game since Sammy Sosa had nine in 2002. Swanson is also the first Club shortstop since 1900 with consecutive multi-homer games, driving in 26 in his last 10 contests.
