Five days after making his MLB debut, Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Bob Seymour can breathe a sigh of relief after mashing his first homer. The 26-year-old socked a 95-mph fastball to right field in the eighth inning against the New York Yankees. Not only was it his first big-league longball, but he's the first player named "Bob" to go deep in MLB since 2002 (Bob Smith).
