New York Yankees hurler Cam Schlittler flirted with a perfect game against Tampa Bay, guiding his squad to a 6-4 road win. The 24-year-old tossed six and 2/3 scoreless frames with eight strikeouts, carrying a perfecto into the seventh inning. It's the first time a first-year Club pitcher was perfect through six frames since 1966 (Fritz Peterson).
