The New York Yankees lived up to their Bronx Bombers moniker in a 13-3 win over Tampa Bay. The Club hit nine dingers, including an opening frame that saw three former MVP Award winners go back-to-back-to-back, and three players with two homers each. New York is the first team ever with multiple games of nine-plus longballs, regardless of whether in the same season or not.
