James Wood's defensive prowess was on full display early in the Washington Nationals home matchup with the Arizona Diamondbacks. In the first inning, the rookie tracked a deep fly ball off the bat of Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Racing to the wall in left field, Wood leapt and made a remarkable grab to rob a homer, helping power the Nationals to an eventual 4-3 victory.
