James Wood gave fans a preview of what's to come in the 2025 T-Mobile Home Run Derby against Detroit. On the day he announced he would be participating in the contest, Washington's slugger launched his 23rd homer as part of the first 5-for-5 day of his career. "It's just an honor to be invited," Wood said. "Winning it would be cool, but I'm just there to have a good time."
