In search of his first victory of the 2025 season, Seattle Mariners starter George Kirby achieved that and much more. In a matinee versus the Angels, the righty struck out a career-high 14 batters over seven innings of two-hit ball. He also notched his 500th career punchout in the outing. "We needed a big one today, and hopefully this sets the tone," said Kirby postgame.
