A rematch of the 2024 World Series between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers brought Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani back together, and the superstars did not disappoint. Each slugger went deep in the first frame of the eventual 8-5 Dodgers win, making them the first pair of reigning MVP Award winners in MLB history to homer in the same inning.
