It was pitcher Ranger Suárez's night in front of the home crowd, putting the Philadelphia Phillies on his back to grab the win, 5-0. The Venezuelan hurler went the distance for the first time since the 2021 season, striking out eight and silencing the Colorado Rockies bats in the victory. Suárez joined Cole Hamels and Cliff Lee as the only Phillies left-handers to toss multiple shutouts at Citizens Bank Park. He also extended his scoreless innings streak to 18 with this outing.
