Monday was a day of firsts for Seattle Mariners rookie Jonatan Clase. Making his MLB debut, the 21-year-old outfielder picked up his first career hit and RBI in the same at-bat during the sixth inning to make it 6-2. Clase sneaked a single past the shortstop to score teammate Ty France from third base. His contribution in that inning was appreciated as it led to a home victory against the Cincinnati Reds, 9-3.
