Cleveland Guardians third baseman José Ramírez added a personal milestone to his stellar 2024 season on Saturday. A double in the eighth inning of his team's matchup with the Houston Astros gave him 1,500 hits in his MLB career. With one game remaining, Ramírez sits one home run away from logging the seventh 40/40 season in MLB history. He's also one homer and one double away from becoming the second player with a season of 40 longballs, 40 steals, and 40 doubles (Alfonso Soriano, 2006).
