Los Angeles Dodgers backstop Will Smith gave his spin to the expression "three's a crowd" on Friday. The 29-year-old began his big night in the opening frame, belting a solo shot to right-center field to put his Club up 1-0. Smith would strike again later on with two more solo blasts to cap off his huge three-homer game. Smith became just the fourth catcher in team history to record a hat-trick in a contest, joining Mike Piazza, Yasmani Grandal, and Roy Campanella.
