In the second inning, Witt rocketed a moonshot to the upper deck at Kauffman Stadium, sending his three-run blast 468 feet. The homer is the furthest of his career, passing his previous mark by 25 feet. Witt would follow up this shot with another home run in the sixth inning, which traveled a modest 425 feet. He finished the day tying his career high of six RBI.
