Pittsburgh Pirates hurler Johan Oviedo put on a show Tuesday night against the Kansas City Royals. The right-hander gave his bullpen the night off, tossing a two-hit, complete-game shutout to ice the 5-0 win. Needing 112 pitches in the effort, it was Oviedo's first career shutout. It is also the first time since the 2016 season a Pirates pitcher has thrown a Complete Game Shutout without allowing a runner to reach second base.
