MacKenzie Gore picked up his first win of his 2023 campaign, and of his Washington Nationals career on Sunday afternoon, after battling with the Atlanta Braves and emerging victorious, 4-1. Gore, who was traded from the San Diego Padres at the 2022 Trade Deadline, was enthusiastic about making his return to a Major League Baseball mound. Over the course of his start, which lasted five and one-third innings, Gore notched six strikeouts while allowing just one run, paving the way for his team's victory.
