Riding a 15-game hitting streak entering Tuesday's Game 7, second baseman Ketel Marte ripped a one-out double to right field in the seventh inning. It was his lone knock of the night, but it extended his hit streak to 16 games, making it the longest in National League history to begin a Postseason career, surpassing Marquis Grissom on that list. The Dominican-born player proved to be a tough out at the plate in the NLCS, hitting .387 with 12 total hits across seven games, earning him the series MVP award.
