With their sights set on their 30th win of the 2022 season, the Milwaukee Brewers sent their ace Corbin Burnes to the hill on Sunday afternoon. The reigning NL Cy Young Award winner was outstanding in the winning performance – striking out 11 over seven scoreless innings while just allowing two hits on the day. Burnes also picked up his 500th career strikeout in the victory, which saw him improve to 3-2 on the year.
