Yesterday afternoon, rookie Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Josh Winder picked up the first win of his Major League Baseball career in his very first start, which was in a contest that pitted his Twins against the Tampa Bay Rays. Winder's showing was incredible, as the 25-year-old Richmond, Virginia native threw for six scoreless innings, striking out a noteworthy seven batters in the process.
