In the first game of a day/night doubleheader between his New York Yankees and the Texas Rangers, Oswaldo Peraza belted the first home run of his Major League Baseball career. This career-first home run, a solo shot, was belted off Rangers hurler Jon Gray in the second inning and sent straight over the left-field wall. Notably, this career-first longball was belted in the 22-year old, Venezuelan native's 16th MLB contest.
