Looking to unlock a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fifth inning, Chicago Cubs shortstop Nico Hoerner picked the right time to hit his fourth career home run and the first of the 2022 MLB season. Batting in the ninth spot of the order, the infielder barreled up a slider from Milwaukee Brewers starter Corbin Burnes, sending it over the ivy-covered outfield wall, in what would end up being a 5-4 win.
