After being sidelined for two years, Noah Syndergaard made his highly anticipated start in game two of the doubleheader between the New York Mets and the Miami Marlins. Despite having 730 days between his most recent outing and Tuesday night, Noah fired a perfect inning and struck out two batters. "Thor" appeared to be his old self, mixing devastating off-speed pitches with a fastball that got up to 96 mph. "When I was walking out of the dugout, hearing the fans, I almost shed a tear," Syndergaard said. "I'm not an emotional guy, but it got to me."
