Luis Gil led the way for the New York Yankees 2-0 victory over the Boston Red Sox in the second game of their doubleheader with a historic start. The 23-year-old flamethrower scattered three hits over four and 2/3 scoreless frames with four strikeouts. Gil has now accumulated 15 and 2/3 scoreless innings pitched over his three starts with the Club - making him the first pitcher in the Modern Era to have a scoreless start in each of his first three career appearances, per Elias Sports.
